Whitney Phipps, DVM, DACVS-SA
Dr. Whitney Phipps is a board-certified surgical specialist performing soft tissue, orthopedic, and minimally invasive surgery. After attending Washington University in St. Louis for her undergraduate degree, she graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She completed a small animal rotating internship at Angell Animal Medical Center, a small animal surgery internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists, and completed her residency in small animal surgery at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. From 2018-2022, Dr. Phipps worked as a general surgeon and rotating intern director at a private practice in Connecticut. She is currently providing locum surgical services and consulting to specialty hospitals as well as surgical coaching to general practitioners through her business, Spotted Dog Veterinary Solutions, LLC.
