Jennifer Steinberg, DVM, DACVP
Dr. Steinberg earned a BS in Molecular and Integrative physiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1997 and her DVM from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine 2001. After completing a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York City, she went on to obtain her residency training in clinical pathology at Colorado State University and TCSVM. Jennifer became board certified in 2005 and has taught at the veterinary schools at Tufts university, UPenn and LMU. Dr. Steinberg has contributed chapters to several textbooks on veterinary cytology, hematology and diagnostic methodologies. She worked as a diagnostic pathologist for a large reference laboratory for almost 12 years before going digital and joining Heska as Senior Clinical Pathologist. Dr. Steinberg shares a charming row-home in Baltimore city with her cats, Paul and Kevin. She enjoys rocking out to KEXP, world travel and speedbag sessions.
