Sarah Lefman DVM, DACVECC
Dr. Sara Lefman grew up in Massachusetts where she attended the University of Massachusetts and studied Animal Science. She completed vet school at Michigan State University, and her rotating internship at The Ohio State University. She then discovered her favorite place to live when she visited New York City for the first time and began her residency at the Animal Medical Center. After residency, she moved to San Francisco for a short period before returning to New York City. She currently lives in the city and works as a criticalist at BluePearl Midtown. Her clinical interests include toxicities, electrolyte disorders, sepsis and teaching interns. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cycling and traveling. She has a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, Nola, and a tabby named Sparta.
